Devcon® Cold welding / Repair of metal and rubber materials
Devcon® brand of maintenance and repair products effectively rebuild equipment to original specifications or prevent failures from occurring in a preventative maintenance program. These include epoxy and urethane coatings for metal repair, rubber repair, belt repair, corrosion repair and floor repair. The specially formulated epoxy coatings also protect handling & storage equipment from continuous wear and abrasion. With the Devcon® adhesives, it is possible to bond a broad range of substrates such as rubber, ceramic, phenolic resin, steel, aluminum and exotic metals. The industrial OEM adhesives include epoxy, cyanoacrylate, silicone, anaerobics and urethane technologies.
Devcon introduced Plastic Steel®, a tough,steel-filled epoxy putty, as an alternative to welding and brazing. The fast-curing urethane compounds are easy to mix and can have the repaired belt back in service just 90 minutes after application. Ceramic-filled epoxy technology enables permanent corrosion resistance to pumps, shafts, pipes, and tanks.

Metal Repair Epoxies
Metal-filled epoxy technology that allow for fast economical permanent repairs to power plant and mining equipment. They can be machined, tapped and drilled, and corrosion resistant to harsh chemicals. These products are available in pourable versions that can be used to provide accurate detail reproductions for short run prototype mold patterns, holding fixtures and forming dies.
