Coating removal by induction

The induction disbonder works by the principle of induction. Heat is generated in the steel substrate and the bonding is broken. The coating is then removed entirely without disintegrating and completely free from contaminating agents, i.e. blast media. This obviously makes disposal and recycling of waste easier and cheaper. Even inside the pittings and cracks on the surface, the coating is disbonded.

RPR Introduction

Clean and fast system for coatings removal. No dust, no noise in the process. This is an envirnomentally friendly and safe system.
RPR Induction Disbonder used on coatings removal in storage tanks of the refinery of Petronor/Repsol in Bilbao. Instant Induction Heat break the bonding of the tank bottom lining. Motorized buggy provides high quality consistent rate of removal

Offshore Platforms/Helidecks/Decks

Storage Tanks

Tank Coating
Tank maintenance job, fast removal of the 600 microns Duatank coating, leaving a near to clean surface. RPR Induction Disbonder provides a safe working environment with no noise and no dust. Robotic solutions are available for a fast, efficient and controlled removal process

Pipeline

Fiber Glass liners, Coal Tar Epoxy, Chartek Fireproofing
Induction stripping can be used to quickly remove coatings such as fiberglass liners, coal tar epoxy, chartek fireproofing and other coatings from steel surfaces. Induction stripping is quiet and does not create any secondary waste.

Bridges

Thick Coating from Steel
Refurbishment of bridge with safe and clean and fast induction heating method. Reduce or eliminate the use of grit. Chlorinated rubber coming off the steel structure easily without noise and dust.

Buildings

Old Thick Coating from Steel
The cleanest and fastest way to remove paint from steel surfaces. No dust, no noise! Effectively and without dust and noise removes the passive fire protection coating from the wall.
